The mission of the West Virginia Association of Masters in Psychology is to advance the interests of masters prepared psychologists, and to ensure that qualified individuals with masters degrees remain eligible for the title of psychologist in the State of West Virginia.

The Association exists to advocate for masters prepared psychologists with the general public, governmental bodies affecting the practice of psychology in West Virginia, and other professional organizations. The WVAMP exists also to provide education to its members on issues relevant to masters prepared psychologists.
Our goal is to enhance the profession of psychology in West Virginia in order to better serve the citizens of our state.
